Well-known investors establishes Rite Internet VenturesA group of investors who have made successful investments in Internet companies are getting together to form a structure for finding new Internet successes. Rite Ventures AB will invest in Nordic Internet companies that are run by first-rate entrepreneurs. Some of the partners that can be mentioned are Anders Ström, Tommy Jacobson, Staffan Persson, Peter Lindell, and Robert Ahldin. Rite Ventures will invest in Nordic Internet companies that are at an early stage and which are run by first-rate entrepreneurs. In addition to capital, Rite Ventures will inject experience, knowledge and an extensive network of contacts. The company has commenced its operations and already this week is meeting with a number of entrepreneurs. Rite Ventures is an investment company and has, therefore, an unlimited investment horizon, measured in time. This is because the partners are aware that it takes time to build up successful companies and that these often become even better as time goes by. To clarify, Rite Ventures’ capital base can be measured in terms of more than a hundred million Swedish Crowns. Furthermore, Rite’s owners have the ability to invest jointly, which further increases capacity. "We think we’ve put together a strong team, says Robert Ahldin, the chairman. We are all entrepreneurs and have experience of the finance business and have made successful investments in Internet companies, Ahldin continues."The MD of the company will be the young Finland Swede, Christoffer Häggblom, who has personally run investment companies focusing on the Internet in Finland. He received an Anders Walls scholarship for entrepreneurship for this in 2005. "In my contact with entrepreneurs, I have noticed that there is a great need for a niche player of the type we represent. We have knowledge and experience, and I think we will be an attractive alternative for entrepreneurs looking for venture capital, says Christoffer Häggblom. We have a strong deal-flow and a great number of proposals are coming in via the partners, as they have all previously been active in this type of investment, says Häggblom."
