Rite Ventures acquires Nord Software

Nord is a software development company, founded in 2007 and was previously owned by Simon Björklund (CTO) and Anton Molander (CEO). Simon Björklund will adhere the newly established position as CTO within the Rite Ventures group. Nord consists of 19 skilled software engineers/consultants. Since its establishment in 2007, Nord has maintained a rapid growth pace while maintaining good profitability

"Nord, its management and its employees have since start, given Nords relatively short period of being up and running, built a solid consultancy business and is a prominent software and e-commerce platform development company", says Christoffer Häggblom, managing partner of Rite. Rite and Nord have cooperated since 2008.

Rite's aim with acquiring Nord is to secure competence within e-commerce platform development. Quite a few of Rite's current portfolio companies are already using Nord as their partner in software development and this co-operation will now be even more integrated.
